** Athanasia Perra GRE disqualified from the competition for doping in accordance with Athletics Integrity Unit's “Global List of Ineligible Persons”. Results annulled from 15.08.09 to 14.08.11 and banned for 4 years until 03.05.21.

Women's Triple jump - Athletics - Berlin 2009 World ChampionshipsEvent Format: Athletes competed in a qualifying round followed by the final. Top twelve and ties in the qualifying round and all those reaching the announced qualification limit advanced to the final. In the final all finalists were given three tries. The top eight were then given three more. The athlete with the best result in the final was the winner of the World Championship.
